
All of our teachers are highly qualified and certified to teach Yoga to children and adults.
We are committed to teaching you how your body works, not simply providing great workouts. We believe change happens when you understand why it is important to practice the movements we request of you during a class .
Class DescriptionsEach class is designed to either Restore or Invigorate you through a sequence of opening and strengthening movements, with breath as a focus.

For ages 4-6 years old. This creative yoga class will start out simple, but with time (and practice) will get more challenging as the students progress. Classes will include breathwork, warm ups, asanas, Sun Salutation flows, fun yoga games, partner yoga, narratives and stories, creative rest and meditation. Vinyasa sequences and inversions will be introduced and proper alignment and formation will be focused on with more one on one work. Students will be encouraged to use their imaginations and will work on their balancing skills, strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance.
**Please bring a mat for this class. Mat rentals are $2. You may leave your mat at the studio within a mat bag for future use.
MommyShape Learn & Play (parent & tot 18 mos. - 3 yrs)
Have you been looking for a way to spend some quality time with your little one? Mommies and daddies join us for some singing, dancing, playing and learning. We will learn songs and creative movements, play with instruments, and use props such as parachutes and balls to have fun while learning motor skills and developing musical interest. We'll end the class with a special art project. The development of social skills is emphasized as the toddlers learn how to listen to instruction, follow directions, and cooperate in a group. You and your toddler will have so much fun bonding, learning, and playing in this 45 minute class!
Note: Every toddler is different. The optimal age range for this class is 18 months to 3 years old, however if your child is younger than 18 months but is very active with crawling and walking, you are welcome to join us and see if he/she might enjoy the class.

MommyShape Baby & Me (2 months - walkers)
Mommies center your mind and connect with your baby in this mommyshape class modified for postnatal women. Your baby will enjoy massage, singing, and gentle movement as you begin to get your body back into shape. We will focus on strengthening your core, pelvic floor, back, arms and legs and work to restore the ab muscles in diastasis recti. Please bring your carrier, yoga mat, and blanket for baby. Please consult with your doctor before beginning this exercise program after your delivery.
Note: Every infant is different. If your child is very active or has started crawling/walking, you may want to try MommyShape Learn & Play, where baby can sing, crawl, run and play.
