Pilates Tower | Yoga Tower | Body Barre
In our Pilates classroom, we offer our Pilates Tower Class, Yoga Tower Class, and our very popular Body Barre Class.

All of our Pilates instructors provide in-depth knowledge on the body as you move through class, so you know you are safe and hitting the right muscle groups.

We are committed to teaching you how your body works, not simply providing great workouts. We believe change happens when you understand why it is important to practice the movements we request of you during a class .

Class Descriptions

Each class hits all large muscle groups and includes movement in all or most of the planes of the body (depending on the level of the class).

 

Pilates Tower Classes

Each class utilizes the Barre, Straps and Springs to:

  • Warm-Up
  • Awaken the Abdominals
  • Teach How the Abdominals Become the 'Root' of the Body
  • Integrate Arm & Leg Work as a Full-Body Exercise
  • Strengthen the Muscles of the Spine & Torso for Improved Posture
  • Learn How to Create and Sustain Balance
  • Create Length through All of the Joints in the Body
  • Decompressing the Spine, Hips and Knees

 

Yoga Tower Classes

Each class utilizes the Barre, Straps and Springs to:

  • Awaken the Breath
  • Introduce Length through the Entire Body
  • Teach How the Abdominals Become the 'Root' of the Body
  • Disect and Support Yoga Postures for Greater Understanding
  • Help Discover the Muscle Groups Responsible for Flow Sequences
  • Deepen Balance
  • Create Length through All of the Joints in the Body
  • Decompress and Open the Spine, Hips and Knees


**Please bring a mat for this class. Mat rentals are $2. You may leave your mat at the studio within a mat bag for future use.

 

Body Barre Classes

Each class utilizes the Barre, Straps and Sand Weights to:

  • Open the Spine, Hips and Knees
  • Introduce Length through the Entire Body
  • Teach How the Abdominals Become the 'Root' of the Body
  • Pulse for Cardiovascular Output
  • Learn How to Use Large Muscle Groups for Full & Partial Body Weight Exercises
  • Tone and Lift the Rear
